Me!

I’m a SAHM with a fabulous (really, FABULOUS) husband.  We have two children, aged 3 years and 1 year.  I fell pregnant with ease both times, had insanely easy pregnancies and wonderful (dare I say perfect?) births.  I love being pregnant and now that my own family is complete would love to use my ‘talent’ to help someone else.

Hi Egg! Or Chicken! Thought I’d drop you a line – glad you found my blog and approve of my insanely yellow paint job. So, what makes a person want to donate an egg or be a surrogate? What does that entail? Is there ever the tendency for surrogate mommies to want to keep the baby they incubated? The whole dang thing fascinates me.

I think I’ll use your comment for tomorrow’s entry – need some time to formulate my response 😉

    Hi

I worked on this narrative story in the St. Petersburg Times, Florida’s largest daily, about a surrogate’s journey to provide a child for intended parents. The story takes a lot of twists and turns and ends surprisingly. It offers a unique and intimate perspective on surrogacy. It’s written in 7 parts and the first two parts are posted on the web site. There are a handful of videos also. I hoped you might post it on your blog or help me figure out where to post it so it gets to people who are interested in surrogacy.

You can find it here. I welcome your comments.

    Thanks.

Being a GC is really, really a noble thing to do. I think it’s the best gift you could ever give an infertile couple – a chance to have their own biological baby.

    May God Bless.
